Multipack Bio products are manufactured with EVRgreen™️ EPS, the first biodegradable EPS resin. This innovation degrades only in microbe-rich environments, maintaining the properties of standard EPS. Testing through the ASTM D5511-11 method has shown that products made with EVRgreen™️ degrade by 92% in 30 months in conditions similar to the most humid and biologically active landfills.
Multipack Bio products meet rigorous food safety standards, including requirements of FDA 21 CFR, EU framework 1935/2004, and EU regulation 10/2011 for direct food contact applications. The EPS of our Bio Pack line contains an additive that facilitates its biodegradation under anaerobic conditions, similar to those found in biologically active landfills.
Furthermore, all products of the Bio Pack line are 100% recyclable, maintaining the exceptional thermal insulation characteristics of molded EPS foam, which offers superior performance over a wide range of temperatures (-20°F to 190°F).
